COURSE
French lessons take place from Monday to Friday in, based on 16 lessons a week. The aim is to enable the students to improve oral and written communication, reinforce the vocabulary and grammatical fundamentals, develop their knowledge of French culture and civilization and express themselves with fluency and ease in different situations.

French, Culture, Wine and Gastronomy program is for students who want to discover Bordeaux and its history, while tasting the region’s specialities and wines. Take part in this gourmet discovery sessions and explore several specialties and French know-how!
DISCOVERY SESSIONS
Students will discover Bordeaux culture and gastronomy during 4 afternoon sessions* including:
- 1 gourmet walking tour: Visit of an historical district of Bordeaux to discover some architectural jewels. Meeting and tasting of local specialties.
- 1 cultural discovery afternoon around Bordeaux unique sites: Discovery of Bordeaux' heritage and cultural live: museum visits, exhibition, unusual sites.
- 1 pastry workshop: Pastry class and tasting of French specialties such as macarons, canelés, dunes blanches, tartes au citron, etc.
- 1 discovery excursion to the vineyards: Visit of Bordeaux wine properties and wine tastings.

Standard French + 1 Oenology Workshop

The programme includes Standard course (21 lessons of 45 minutes per week in a group) + 1 French oenology workshop per week (2-2,5 hours per week) in the evening.
The daily rhythm of the Standard course enables you to improve all French language skills (oral and written production; oral and written comprehension), to broaden your vocabulary and to correct French grammar.
The course in French wine tasting will teach you to taste French wines of the South West and, guided by a wine expert, describe the felt qualities and aspects. You will enlarge your practical vocabulary related to wine, senses and feelings and refine your knowledge of the French vintages and will better understand the fundamental principles of the food and wine pairing and share experiences with French people in a sociable way.

Professional French cooking course will teach you how to interpret French recipes by preparing classical and creative dishes « à la Française » guided by a French Chef.
