How our students rated their experience in Cracow
What our students said about Cracow
I fell in love with the city. I lived directly on the Planty around the Old Town and let myself be enchanted every day anew by the charm and beauty of the Old Town. The Rynek, the Wawel Castle, Kazimierz - but also the trams - did it for me. There are also many great second-hand shops. Cheap and colourful, like in London. The people are relaxed and friendly.
Germany
Tramline outside language school under reconstruction, so necessary to use the less convenient (free) buses to get to/ from town centre. Noise at times caused by construction work

The fact that the teachers were different every day was pretty cool, each with their own personality and methods.

The teachers are committed and competent. The placement within the groups worked really well. My class consisted of five people and we fit together very well. I learned a lot in the short time and enjoyed the friendly, family atmosphere. Our teacher Sylwia had an answer to every question and lots of great tips for places to see in Krakow. I can highly recommend the school.

Romek is a great tutor - very friendly and has a brilliant way of delivering. The location of the school is great - keeps you in Krakow and ability to explore some of the main tourist points as well as other local amenities. The staff at the school are all very friendly.
Excellent and 10/10 would do it again - one week is not enough, I regret not doing more.

It was a pleasant bright building with nice classrooms and air conditioning. The teachers were competent and qualified.
Unfortunately I have to be honest here. There were two issues that gave me cause for concern. The first is that I was messed about with my choice of accommodation. I originally selected dates in July with the option for private accommodation organised by the school. I was told several days later that this option was no longer available on my chosen dates so I changed my dates accordingly and proceeded to book flights. Less than two weeks before the course commenced I was told that the accommodation was actually not available for my chosen dates after all and was offered a room with a family which I point blank refused. I haven't lived with my own family in sixteen years and definitely didn't want to live with strangers for a week in their family home. Then suddenly they did find me a room in an apartment with other students on the course which turned out to be absolutely fantastic and in a great location. The other issue is that on the first day of the course we were informed that we would be having no lessons on Wednesday 15th August as this was a public holiday. As I only signed up to a week this meant that essentially 20% of my lesson time was lost. I enquired about this and asked if I could receive a partial refund of the course fee and they refused. At no point before the commencement of the course did anyone communicate to me that there would be no lessons on this day nor did I know it was a public holiday in Poland. This would make me think twice about going back to this school again.

Friendly staff, very personable teacher, Ewa. Lessons were very well pitched to my level of ability, and well structured for the time I was in Prolog.
An excellent school. I would recommend the school to anyone wanting to learn Polish quickly, rather than an hour a week, or through self study.
