Maximum 12-week enrolments for tourist visa/visa waiver students and maximum 16-weeks for WHV students.

This course fully complies with the official Bildungsurlaub requirements, offering employees the opportunity to use their educational leave for meaningful professional and personal development. Participants benefit from 25 hours of structured language instruction aimed at strengthening communication skills for the workplace and beyond. To meet the 30-hour weekly requirement, the programme also includes an additional 5 hours of guided academic and homework support, allowing students to deepen their understanding, practise independently with expert feedback, and consolidate the progress made in class.

This course is ideal for students who wish to gain a sound understanding of the language through a well-rounded course. Course tuition is structured as follows: 16 General language lessons, 4 project sessions, 4 special interest lessons and 2 lecture sessions each week. The special interest lessons can be focused on subjects that are important to you, or relevant to your studies outside of EF’s classroom.

EF’s goal is that all students are able to move up another level after 6 weeks of dedicated and serious study.
