You will receive 20 carefully and professionally planned one-to-one lessons per week in your teacher’s family home, where you will also benefit from the family’s conversation in English, as well as their native cultural knowledge. Having an English family accompany you during your first time living in Italy will help you understand some of the cultural differences that might exist between Turin and your place of origin.

One of the first areas you will check out should be the historic centre since this is where the vast majority of sights, shops and entertainment options are located - however just be aware that this is the area with the most international visitors, so if you want to be immersed around English speakers then you may wish to hang out in the San Salvario area of Turin.

You will be able to contact HLI’s Local Organiser staff who work in Turin if you ever need to raise an issue regarding any aspect of your experience with the programme, so you will always have assistance on hand.

The programme also includes accommodation in a private bedroom (Sunday to Sunday) and 3 meals per day with the teacher’s family.

You can customise your stay by booking additional lessons, activities, courses for specific purposes, private bathroom, accommodation of superior standard, airport transfer and close supervision for young students.

For students aged 13 or under, close supervision is compulsory (EUR 170 per week).
