What our students said about Vancouver
Vancouver is a beautiful city, you can experience a lot and get to know many cultures. Food prices are relatively expensive compared to Europe. You shouldn't visit China Town in the evening because the main street is full of homeless people with tents. People are relatively open and sometimes approach you out of the blue and ask you how you are. You can also just take the bus to Whistler without any problems.
Vancouver is a nice city to visit, but it's more about the nature in the surrounding that make it a special place. You can be at first surprised by the amount of homeless in downtown. And living there is a bit expensive.
A wonderful city! I got to know several neighborhoods besides downtown and neighboring cities like North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Burnaby. I loved everything! I want to move there soon!
Anytime again. I don't know any city that combines so many different things: internationality, nature, big city, hiking, skiing, water sports, sightseeing, culture, art ....
Vancouver, is a beautiful city for the nature that offers in its surroundings both near and farther away. It is a city that is definitely worth knowing and enjoying.
The economy and the climate of most cities in Canada are similar. People in here are un - enthusiastic, not like American.
Great city, great surroundings, very friendly people, it’s really worth going there.
Beautiful city, lots to do but in my opinion there is a lack of culture.
Vancouver is a city of exchanges and is safe for young people

The organization of classes and activities for seniors. The professionalism of the entire management team and teachers of the school. Good methodology in the teaching of the language.
26 August 2024
Course: General English 20 - 4 weeks
Student age: 60 years

There are two or three teachers whose teaching methods are good. Other teachers teach by playing games. Generally, the first class in the morning and afternoon from Monday to Thursday, which is more formal, the others classes are including some interactive. The extra classes on Friday are paid speaking activity. This week, the teacher was sick, so a new teacher led us to play word guessing games in the class. The class went by but there wasn't much knowledge that we can learn from the school. Compared with the other students who have been here for half a year, their English is not very good and I don’t feel that they have improved a lot.
The learning experience is just so so.

Q&A - Questions about English courses and schools in Vancouver
Could I choose to stay with non-Spanish girls?
I want to go to Canada to start learning French in Vancouver. I want to take a course for a few weeks to see what the language is like. I would like to know if my age of 39 is an impediment and if you help me to manage the visa from Colombia.
As for your age, I assure you that it is not an impediment. The schools welcome students of all ages and I firmly believe that it is never too late to learn something new. To give you an idea, the average age of students is around 25.
Regarding the visa, although we do not directly manage the visa process, the school you choose in Canada will provide you with all the necessary documentation once you have completed the full payment of your booking. This documentation will help you to apply for your student visa.”
