Location: That's Mandarin Beijing is a Chinese language school located in the historic Chinese capital city of Beijing. The school is housed in a modern and spacious building in the Dongcheng District, surrounded by amenities, convenience stores, some supermarkets and various shops. There are links to public transport and several attractions and sites of interest nearby.
Course selection: In addition to General Chinese courses, taught in groups or privately, that are available to students of all levels, That's Mandarin Beijing also provides junior programmes (immersion/day/tuition only) during the summer and winter months. HSK Exam Preparation programmes are also available at this school.
The junior programmes have specific start dates and age groups, with students aged 7-17 years having some kind of programme available to them during winter and summer.
Social and cultural: Beijing is a large and daunting city for many people that have not travelled there before. The metropolitan area of Beijing has a population of over 20 million people. With this in mind, the school's staff are a useful source of information and are happy to assist students with guidance on how best to plan their time in Beijing accordingly. Some of the main attractions of the city include the grand Forbidden City complex, the Palace Museum, The Great Wall of China, several iconic and historic temples, and much more.
