Location: Alpadia Frankfurt is a summer junior centre situated in Biedenkopf, nestled in the scenic Lahn Valley, about 90 minutes away from Frankfurt, Germany. The surrounding areas of the school offer great green spaces where students can relax and enjoy an array of activities whilst learning German.
Getting around: Shared transfers are available from Lausanne, Cologne Bonn (CGN) and Frankfurt (FRA). Additional costs do apply.
Course selection: These junior programmes are ripe with lessons, activities, excursions, accommodation and meals and are available for students aged 10–17 years. At Alpadia Frankfurt, students may decide to learn English or German.
Social and cultural: The surrounding areas of Frankfurt and the Lahn Valley are fantastic for showing students the splendour of the Celtic and Roman times. There are many churches, cathedrals and several castles to be discovered. The Lahn Valley and its forest-covered mountains provide an ideal environment for outdoor activities.
Activities in these programmes can include sports in the afternoon, murder mystery evenings, hiking and much more. Excursions in the programmes can include trips to Marburg, Braunfels Castle, sightseeing in Frankfurt/Cologne and much more.
PREMIUM+ activities packages are also available for Creative Arts, Horse Riding, and Tennis. Supplementary costs apply.
Accommodation: Accommodation is available in residence. The rooms are quadruple rooms with bunk beds, 24/7 security and a shared bathroom.
