Location: Global Village School - Wangjing Campus is a Chinese language institute located in the Chaoyang District of the Chinese megacity of Beijing. The Chaoyang District and the school run along the Beixiao River. There are several links to public transport, eateries, shops and amenities within walking distance of the school's front doors. Attractions and places of social and cultural interest within a 30-minute taxi ride of the school include the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Chaoyang Wangjing Park, Wanghu Park and many more.
Getting around: The school has several bus stops and routes within walking distance, in addition to the subway stations. The Beijing buses run 24 hours per day and taxi services are always readily available also. The Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) is around a 25-minute taxi ride from the school's front doors.
Course selection: The school offers separate programmes taught for each level, some of which are available in person and others that are predominantly online, distance learning. In addition to these General courses, the school offers Advanced Chinese and HSK Exam Preparation. Weekend programmes may also be an option for students, upon request and subject to availability.
Social and cultural: Some of the most visited and popular attractions of Beijing are the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall of Badaling, Jingshan Park, the Lama Temple, the National Center for the Performing Arts and many more. The school is happy to give all students up-to-date and concise information to plan their trips, excursions and activities.
