Venue: The city of Berlin sets the stage for DID Deutsch-Intitut’s junior programmes. The residential programme is located right next to Fritz-Schloss-Park in the Berlin Mitte neighbourhood, near the main train station, Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Most of the major sites can be reached on foot: Brandenburg Gate, the Tiergarten, and the Reichstag, and for those which are a little further away, the U-Bahn or tram lines connect to most in under 20 minutes.
Summertime: DID Deutsch-Institut offers summer programmes with the option of staying in residence or with a host family. These programmes are all-inclusive and in addition to the General German lessons and accommodation with full board, there are excursions such as a full-day trip to a nearby city as well as organised activities both on site and around the city, keeping students engaged and encouraging a truly immersive experience.
Other options: Beyond the summer months, DID Deutsch-Institut provides younger students wishing to improve their German skills with private programmes which enable them to assimilate both language and culture in a short period of time, while living with a German host family. The school also organises high school exchange programmes.
