The city state of Berlin is within the larger German state of Brandenburg. It encircles Germany's capital city of Berlin and is to the North East of the country. The city has 180 km of waterways that you can journey through, the largest of which is the River Spree. The river runs through the state of Berlin and leads to the River Havel. The state has the largest train station in Europe and has regular connections both domestically and internationally.
