Why Cologne? Cologne hosts many galleries, museums and trade fairs, and also the Rhine ...
and the Cathedral. The city also offers many shopping streets and has the highest concentration of pubs and taverns in Germany. Whether there is street music on the Hohe Strasse or galas in the modern opera house, or the annual music festival along the inner ring road or carnival in the entire city - in Cologne all this becomes synthesized into a vivacious work of art in a metropolis boasting more than a million inhabitants which, despite its size, has never lost its neighbourly character.

The school is really well located and the staff is nice. People are very friendly.
TANDEM Köln is a good school with a good value for money. The professors are comprehensive and professional. The only negative point is the difference in the teaching methods from a teacher to another. The organisation and the structure of the courses are not the strongest points of the school. Generally speaking, I had a really good time in this school and will come back as soon as possible.

The timings are flexible
The Centre should assess the students before starting their lessons. For example I was put in an A1.2 class instead of A1.1 but I had no knowledge of the language and it was a frustrating one month. The other 4 students could already speak the language and I couldn't and the teacher was not helpful to me because she always thought I was not coping. How could I cope when I didn't learn the basics? I did not enjoy the first month until I was taken to the A1.1 class.
