Information about Horb am Neckar
Why Horb am Neckar? Horb am Neckar is a town in the southwest of Germany and is often referred to as the Gateway to the Black Forest. It sits right on the edge of the legendary enchanting wood, where the Neckar and Grabenbach rivers come together slicing through the landscape, providing many beautiful hills and valleys. The ambience of the area is deliberately calm and peaceful and strolling around here it is very easy to mentally escape. Cobblestone streets and medieval buildings with their peaked roofs and old stonework like something from another age give the city a true medieval feel. All the tradition and culture oozing from this place is delightful to visitors but probably the most enjoyable pastime is attending the annual rock concerts and chilling by the river watching the sun set into the trees over the mountain with a beer in hand.
