Location: La Playa Escuela de Español is located in the Andalusian town of La Cala Del Moral, on the outskirts of the city of Malaga, in southern Spain. Housed in a unique building, surrounded by a lush garden, swimming pool and lounge bar area, La Playa Escuela de Español is in a safe and very hospitable area of Malaga, within a moment's walk of the magnificent Butibamba Beach. Students have eateries, supermarkets and beachside restaurants within proximity, with all of the treasures of Malaga City centre within a 30-minute journey of the school.
Course selection: Course selection at La Playa Escuela de Español has something for everyone, with General Spanish lessons available to all levels of students, over a variety of schedules, throughout the whole year. Residential packages for students local to Malaga, as well as fully immersive International Summer Camps for Junior students, are also on hand, ensuring something is available for a variety of necessities. The school also offers courses to learn English.
School facilities: As mentioned, the facilities of the school are of a very high standard, offering many amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, a lounge area, a garden and a rooftop terrace, designed to bring as much comfort to students learning experience as possible. There is also a cafeteria, library, free parking and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise.

“I have dealt with 3 different teachers: Isabel, Pedro and Maria. All very enthusiastic, spontaneous, cordial. Have a lot of patience and try to make things clear in every way. They also speak excellent English, sometimes it was easy to answer my question if I didn't know it in Spanish. This is not a criticism, but a personal assessment.Other comments: It would be nice if the school had flyers for opportunities to spend free time in La Cala del Moral, e.g. guided hikes, visits to various Cuevas, sporting and cultural activities (concerts) etc.

"Lourdes and MariJose tried very hard to have a chat during the meal and sometimes the meal took up to 2 hours. We didn't always eat together, but there was always one of them to eat and chat with.
If I wasn't home for lunch, my food was put in the refrigerator and I could heat it up in the microwave. I had my own space in the basement, with lounge, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and bedroom. And its own back door. Room is cold and dark at this time of year, but I had a heater. Probably a wonderful space in summer when it is more than 25 degrees outside.
