Location: Turkish Language Center Istanbul is located on the European side of the historic city of Istanbul, Turkey. Housed in the Kağıthane district, which is a rapidly developing urban area, the school is easily reached from all parts of the city and has many public transport services and routes nearby. The school is within walking, and short-driving distance from several eateries, shops, cafés, and several attractions including the Vadistanbul Shopping Mall, Kağıthane City Park and the Istanbul Sapphire. The Sultanahmet city centre of Istanbul is around a 45-minute drive from the school's front doors.
Course Selection: In addition to General Turkish courses, Turkish Language Center Istanbul also provides private lessons, available in conjunction with another programme or independently. The General Turkish programmes are available over several intensities to students of all levels.
Accommodation: Turkish Language Center Istanbul offers accommodation in several facilities. These facilities can include private apartments or hotels.
Activities & Excursions: Istanbul is a fantastic city, full of sites of cultural and historical value, with the school's staff happy to assist in the planning of activities and excursions in and around the city. Additional costs may apply.
Teachers: All of the school's teachers hold academic diplomas and certificates in teaching Turkish as a foreign language.

“The school is old and run-down. It bears no resemblance whatsoever to the website. The premises are completely different.
There was no heating for the first two days (at 8 degrees Celsius). On the third day, the teacher discovered that there was Wi-Fi after all. There was no textbook. There was just a whiteboard.”

“The teacher, Mrs. Nurcan, is very competent and experienced, she is also involved beyond the classroom and enjoys showing the students around her city. She is always available for the students and easy to talk to. For my individual lessons, I was even able to choose locations to study, depending on the weather, even in the great outdoors (e.g. Emirgan Park during the tulip blossom season) or in a patisserie over a coffee. I looked forward to the varied lessons every day and learned a lot in the well-structured and prepared lessons. A really worthwhile learning stay that I will definitely repeat next year. Many thanks also for the perfect pre-organization by the agency.”
“The school will move to new premises, but has not yet found yet a new place. Classes are currently being held in a makeshift room next to an office. They are doing their best to make the lessons as pleasant as possible (tea and coffee).”
