What we like about the school

- Excellent nationality mix. No student nationality makes up more than 10% of students.
What we dislike about the school
- Do not offer favorable cancellation terms in the case of a student getting a visa rejected.
Location: GLS - Summer Centre Westend Berlin is a summer language camp location, housed in the Westend of the historic and diverse German city of Berlin. The school is a short distance from the Olympic Stadium, several links to public transport and many eateries and green spaces.
Course selection: These immersive junior summer programmes are available during the summer months to junior students of all levels. Available with a couple of intensities in terms of lesson plans, these programmes include tuition, accommodation, all meals, activities and excursions.
Social and cultural: Students arrive from as many as 40 countries, ensuring students have ample opportunities to make friends from all over the world and benefit from the communal and varying experiences and customs of the international student community.
Each programme includes daily activities in and around the sights of Berlin.
At least one excursion takes place at the weekend. This can include trips to destinations such as Berlin and Potsdam.
Accommodation: Accommodation is allocated in twin rooms within the school's residence. Each twin room has its own washing facilities and shower. All accommodation is full board, with all meals being given in the school's canteen.
The accommodation is in modern guesthouses.

In July and August, courses on fringe levels (i.e. absolute beginners and very advanced) may be moved to the afternoon if necessary (15:00 - 18:30). The recreational program is planned so that participants will not miss any activities.
