What we dislike about the school
- Nationality mix could be more balanced. 40% of students are from Italy
Location: The school building is located in Temple Bar, the cultural heart of Dublin. Students will find many shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The River Liffy is two streets away from the school.
Getting around: Due to the school's location, there are lots of transportation options to travel to and from Kaplan in Dublin. There are bus stops scattered around the temple bar area, with a number of routes throughout the city. Dublin has an extensive tram service, and the closest station from the school is Trinity station, which is a quick 10 minute walk from the building.
Local attractions: Around the temple bar area, and therefore walkable from the school, is Christ Church Cathedral and Dublin Castle. Kilmainham Gaol, Phoenix Park and the Guinness Storehouse are to the west of the school and are either a short bus trip or a longer stroll through this part of the city.
Courses: Kaplan International Languages in Dublin offers a variety of English courses. There are general English programmes, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation classes, a business package and long term semester courses. The school offers a four week CELTA course as a full time teacher training programme.
School facilities: All the classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards. Students can remain at the school after lessons and either continue their learning in the study centre or interact with fellow students in the student lounge.
Local trips: The school organises regular trips to nearby sights of interest as well as longer visits to other cities in Ireland.

Kaplan International Languages is an examination centre for CELTA.
This CELTA Course is a teacher training course that will help you on the path to teaching English as a Foreign Language. This course includes 120 contact hours over 4 weeks and 8 hours per week will be spent focusing on lesson prep and study. Students are required to take a pre-test to confirm their enrolment.
