The Italian Association of Language Schools (AISLI) is an association for foreign language schools working in Italy. They assess the quality of performance at these organisations through regular inspections, paying particular interest into the school's implementation of the Charter of Student Rights and conformity with the Professional Code of Conduct. AISLI is a member of EAQUALS and has a close partnership with British Council and the University of Cambridge ESOL.
| Requirements AISLI member schools need to fulfill | The requirements for foreign language schools wanting to become members of AISLIs is as follows:
- must uphold the Professional Code of Conduct and the Students Charter in all working departments of the organisation;
- have been running as an establishment teaching languages for at least 3 continuous years;
- have a professional teaching environment as expressed by The Students' Charter for the productivity of both the student and the teaching staff;
- the student's satisfaction of the school is the primary measure of excellence;
- the quality of service that the student receives is paramount to the organisation; the classrooms are designed for an ideal learning experience, the student is the correct language level as stated by a level test on or before arrival and the health and safety of the student is upheld throughout their time there. |
