This location is suitable for those students who prefer to live in a quiet, more community-based environment than what you can typically find in a more metropolitan setting. You will have 15 one-to-one classes every week, and you get to determine what the topics will be, since these classes are exclusively for you.

All teachers for the home tuition programme possess either a teaching certificate or a university degree that qualifies them for the position - so you can be sure that your classes will be professionally planned and carried out. Your host family will prepare your meals and also show you around the town after arrival. Galashiels is a fairly small town, but you will find it helpful to be shown where all the shops and services are that you might need during your stay.
