Information about Ahuano
Why Ahuano? Ahuano is a small village, roughly around 4 hours from the capital city of Quito, situated on the River Napo. Whilst it is very remote and only accessible by river, it has increased as a tourist attraction in the past years thanks to the influx of people wanting to visit a traditional Quechua Town on the outskirts of a rainforest. This means that the amenities of the village are improving with water pipes, paved roads and an increased number of restaurants and bars.
