Lamda has a great approach to teaching a foreign language. I have taken many language classes before, but nowhere have I felt as comfortable in this foreign setting as I did at Lamda. The course did not feel rushed yet at the same time we were learning a lot. They made us 'feel' the language before diving deeper into its intricacies.

My week at Lamda was amazing. The staff were all very enthusiastic and incredibly helpful. Everything exceeded my expectations. I wish I could have stayed more than a week and I hope to return again. It was a great experience from start to finish. I felt very welcomed and supported. I was taught in a class of four (including me) in the mornings for four hours and on my own in the afternoons for two hours. In between I attend fun activities open to all students. I cannot recommend this course more highly. If you are learning Greek, I would suggest going to the theatre in Athens in the evenings. It was inexpensive and a great way to get another two hours of Greek a day. I went to six plays in Greek. By the end of the week I was totally exhausted but in a very positive way.
