Why Athens? Athens is named after Athena, the goddess of wisdom, who according to legend, won the city after defeating Poseidon in a duel. Athens, a metropolis of four million people, has an appealing village-like quality which becomes evident in the cafés, tavernas, markets and the maze of streets around the Pláka. The city has the finest restaurants and the most varied nightlife in the country and remains a major European centre of culture, celebrated each year at the Athens Festival.

I love Athens for it's diversity - a bit of everything, all close and mixed, all co-existing. A real city, with proud history, incredible beauty and modern challenges.

Athens is a great city. But a lot of refuges and in the evening , if you travel alone, it is uncomfortable to go outside.

Very solid with a caring director and secretary. Also teachers who gave the best of themselves. The afternoon conversation was also very instructive to learn simple Greek and to support each other.

Good quality lessons, but organization sometimes left something to be desired (too few afternoon activities), no good communication when lessons were cancelled.
Great location in the city.

The staff is very friendly and answer all questions. The extra-linguistic program was interesting (the manager is an excellent historian, and can explain a lot ..). Nice Christmas Party with delicious pastries and wine .. Especially I liked the dance class, two times! The lessons (I had two teachers, individual and group lessons) depend a lot on the person. The group lessons were very teacher- and frontal orientated. The use of different media and playful interactive approaches (also between the participants) are hardly available. But that seems to be a general problem in Greece ...
See above. The lessons could be more "easy-going". The teachers are, especially in one-to-one lessons, open-minded, if you suggest something. So encourage future participants to voice their opinions, suggestions or criticisms on site! The more students do that, the more likely it is that something will change.

It is all super organized and the atmosphere is extremely friendly. They also try to get the students in contact with each other. It was also great that in the first week only 2 students were in the class, and in the second week 3 students. The two teachers we had were very dedicated and really professional.
You can join completely relaxed, everyone is nice, everything regulates itself. Nevertheless, you learn a lot and the class is really demanding.

Very well organized, many interesting students in the small group and excellent teacher Ms.Rosalia!
Is there any better comment? I already sent my colleague to attend the same course in March 2017 and I myself will take private lessons end of January because I cannot fit into existing group. Great experience!

The competence of the teachers and the organization of the classes. They were also very kind in helping me with some extra needs.
As a beginner I could only get a taste of the language, even after a four week course. But considering what we did in class, this is the best you can get from a language school
