Reviews by former students who attended a Senior Adult Learners 50+ years course in San Sebastian

I liked Yulia, the Spanish teacher very much (Yulia organized the lessons in a colourful mix of games, vocabulary and grammar); Nathalie also taught the leisure activities to us 50+ students well and very sympathetically.

Course: 50+ Senior Super Intensive Course - 1 week
Student age: 71 years

I had 7 weeks of individual lessons and really learned a lot. In my opinion, a special feature and strength of the school is that it places a lot of emphasis on conversation. That's exactly what I wanted! The methodology and didactics used were exactly right for me.
Conclusion: it couldn't have been better! A few words of Spanish turned into the ability to hold a conversation for about an hour
can. I am also now able to read easy books in Spanish.
Many thanks to our new employees and employees!!!
And - I learned to learn again, which is no longer so easy at my age.

FAQ About Senior Adult Learners 50+ years Spanish Courses in San Sebastian

What is the best language school offering Senior Adult Learners 50+ years courses in San Sebastian?
Which Spanish school offers the best rated teaching for Senior Adult Learners 50+ years courses in San Sebastian?
I am looking for a language course with over-50s. I already have a basic/good level of Spanish under my belt. What do you recommend?
- Most 50+ courses are a combination of the standard course (all ages), combined with cultural activities just for 50+ students.
- 50+ courses often have only a few start dates per year (spring/autumn), while you can start almost every Monday in a standard course.
- The 50+ courses are incredibly fun to meet peers in, so if a start date suits you, I definitely recommend this. If there is no start date for a 50+ course that suits you, I recommend joining a standard course.
- Also, check the average age of students on the schools' profiles. If you opt for a standard course at a school with a higher average age, this also already gives you a greater chance of meeting peers.
- You could possibly also opt for a business course if a school offers this. There, the average age is usually a lot higher as well.
- The youngest students are on the road during the summer months. So if you prefer not to take classes with incredibly young students, we recommend taking a course outside the summer season.
- Most young students go to big cities; standard courses from schools in smaller locations tend to have a higher average age.
We hope this helps. And if you have any further questions, we are of course happy to help.”
