What our students said about St. Petersburg
Wonderful city and so beautiful. I was sad there was no snow and learned that it's a myth that it snows all over Russia in winter! I advise you to get the Yandex Taxi app as soon as you can as I got badly ripped off by a dodgy taxi driver on arrival. He charged me 4,000 roubles for a journey that should have cost about 100 roubles and threatened to keep my suitcase. Apart from that, I had an amazing time.

St. Petersburg is always worth a trip. I saw the Hermitage, the Aurora ship, the Peter and Paul Fortress. Much more is possible. However, I used some afternoons for homework and deepening the content of the language lessons.
Germany
The school's student ID card with special discounts is great. Unfortunately not participated in the nightlife.
Germany
I'm a big dude, so people leave me alone, but it is just as safe a city for a single woman to walk around.
Wet, cold and windy in winter. Very pleasant from spring to summer
Hungary
Magic city, I would have liked to extend my stay!

What school directors said about St. Petersburg

The city of St. Petersburg was founded in 1703 by the visionary Tsar, Peter the Great, who aimed to build a capital to rival the great cities of Europe. With its majestic palaces, wide boulevards and numerous canals, at times you feel you could be in Paris, Vienna or Amsterdam, but ultimately it’s uniquely Russian. While it may no longer be Russia’s political capital, there is no doubt that St. Petersburg remains the country’s cultural capital. The Hermitage is a ‘must-visit’ and houses one of the finest art collections in the world. But that it just one of many galleries and museums, not to mention theatres and architectural gems waiting to be discovered. Although it looks beautiful in the winter snow, during the summer the city really comes alive when the ‘White Nights’ begin and the sun scarcely sets.

If you are interested in Russian culture - the best place to learn the language is Cultural capital of Russia. White Nights is best time to travel.

St. Petersburg is the cultural capital of Russia, its most open and international city, the treasury of Russian art and history, the Northern Venice
It is the best architecture and open museum under the air

St.Petersburg nowadays is the second biggest city in Russia which even used to be the capital of the country for two centuries.

Great organization and willingness to help with problems. Great lessons. The individual support in the lessons was also nice thanks to the small classes in autumn/winter.
Didn't get an immigration card at the airport or lost it (please point out to everyone that this is an important piece of paper for departure). I didn't realize I needed one. The school secretary went to the police personally twice to get a new one. That was great!

28 November 2018
Course: Intensive Course - 1 week
Student age: 58 years

The commitment of the teacher, she also met with us privately.
On the didactic side, I very much would have wanted more (very simple) monolingualism. Sometimes the teacher's English was not enough to make things clear to me. I would rather have started with expressions of daily life, so that I could communicate at least a bit. Maybe the school will also rethink its course material in this regard.
