What our students said about Edinburgh
In my personal opinion, it is a very beautiful old city that can be visited in two days at the most. There are few activities in May-June. There are plenty of pubs to drink in, but the food is not to my taste. It falls within the Anglo-Saxon norm: burgers, fish & chips, toast, etc. In fact, you meet a lot of overweight people on the street. To eat well and healthy, you have to go to very expensive restaurants or cook yourself.
For the public transport by night: there is nothing, it was a problem to go to the accommodation ...by walk it was a long way! Shopping and museums close early and after the afternoon lessons there is not enough time for it!
Edinburgh is a nice Ghotic city, full of historical sites, museum and lots of shops. I enjoy this city a lot and Scottish people are so friendly and ironic! Scotland for me is the best place in the UK!
Perfect combination of modernity and tradition with a wide range of cultural, gastronomic and activities of all kinds including sports, all combined with wonderful landscapes.
The city is very beautiful and interesting. There are many interesting museums (art and history), some of which are free. Great opportunities for walking around the city.
A beautiful, lively town, with beautiful architecture and well-kept parks full of flowers. Lots of restaurants and shops. The Scots are helpful and friendly.
Edinburgh it's a magical City, this City have a lot of history and after some days you love the City, including the heavy rainy days.
Expensive city but it was a good experience, for sure I come back (hopefully I spend more time),
It is a beautiful and exciting city with a lot of historical background and exciting activities
Ringrazio il sig. Hamish per la cura e l'attenzione che ha posto su tutto. Tutto perfetto!!!
