Location: St Giles International Junior Centre is located in the historic English city of Canterbury, in southeast England. The summer programme is housed within the King's School in Canterbury, dating back to 597 AD, and on the grounds of the renowned Canterbury Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Students are invited to embrace the language and culture of these historic surroundings whilst taking part in an unforgettable programme.
School facilities The school boasts excellent facilities which include a cafeteria, computer lab, lounge area, extensive surrounding gardens, a basketball court, and library. Students on the programme also use the nearby sports centre which has an indoor swimming pool, a gym, tennis and squash courts, and outdoor playing fields.
Accommodation: Students on the residential programme are housed on campus in single or shared rooms on a full-board meal programme. Meals are taken on-site when on campus and on excursion days, a packed lunch is provided.
Excursions: Students on the programme participate in amazing excursion options which can include outings to London, Legoland, and BeWILDerwood, behind the scenes visits to famous football stadiums in the region, and to WB Studio where the Harry Potter films were made, or a trip to Shrek’s Adventure.
Getting there: Airport transfers from London's major airports are available for a fee. The Canterbury West Railway Station is within a 10-minute walk of St Giles International Junior Centre Canterbury's front doors.

The General English lessons are designed to focus on building communication skills and confidence in using English inside and outside the classroom.
