Definitely specify that you want to share the apartment or room with students from other countries. Otherwise Clubclass will accommodate you with people from the same country and you end up talking only German.
Other comments
You better organize the airport transfer and all the trips yourself, this is where the school rips you off.

There are so many Spaniards and it's a problem because some of them speak only Spanish with each other, making them a very closed group while others are excluded.

The apartments are dirty, and unfortunately the internet not free and you do not get all the minutes as promised ...

The staff at the school: very friendly and competent. The staff at the residence: unfriendly (a few exceptions) and not competent at all.

You can come and go anytime you want, and it is very close to the busy area.

The food in the supermarket is very expensive. I recommend eating out in bakeries and takeout places, or bring your own food, rice, pasta and oil at least.
Other comments
What I disliked were the students that showed no respect for those who wanted to study, or those who wanted to rest, or for the Maltese people. It is sad to say they were usually Spanish.
