Most students between 20 and 25 years old. Buy a good grammar book which helps for typical mistakes of abroad learners (e.g. "grammar in use intermediate" by R. Murphy, about 27 USD) and talk to people... courses were funny.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Go to the 42nd street musical at Broadway. With your student-ID you can go to the theater between 4.30pm and 5.30pm to get a "rush ticket" for just 21$ in the first row. The people in the second row pay 100$ with a regular ticket!! The show is great!

The experience to visit New York is just great. You meet so many interesting and crazy people in this city. It's really a city that never sleeps. You can feel 100% save in the city, also in the subway at night. I heard in New York, that the Rennert school is the best choice to learn english inside New York. The location can´t be better!

The teachers are all young (maybe average 33) and motivated. They are “real” New Yorkers and will help you with things you should know about the city or the interesting things in the USA.

The activities are a good option to get know students from all over world. It's really fun and you can improve your English! Go to the jazz clubs and the football games!! :-)

I liked my time in New York, It was a great experience and I hope to go back some day. New York is very expensive but that's o.k. - it's a city of superlatives! Unfortunately I think that finding the right accommodation is not easy.

It seems to me to be the best place to learn the language and experience New York for the first time in America. My teacher Elliot was not only a language teacher, he taught us so much about American culture, values, lifestyle... I extended my course by 2 weeks because I was so happy to be there.

New York city is really the greatest city on earth, but when you stay there try to get a hostfamily who is not that far away from school, because long travelling every day isn´t exciting.
