Scholarship Statens Lånekasse for Utdanning
- General facts about scholarship Statens Lånekasse for Utdanningl: The State Education Loan Fund (Statens Lånekasse for Utdanning) offers a scholarship of NOK 15.000 for a so-called preparatory language course ("Forberedende språkkurs") to Norwegian students who are studying at least ½ year at a university outside of Norway where they do not give their lessons in English.
- Conditions to get the scholarship: The student must attend a university approved by the Norwegian educational authorities
The teaching language must be different from English
The language course must have a minimum duration of 4 weeks
The university must be outside the Nordic region
The language course and the following university studies must take place in the same country
Support from other language scholarships is withdrawn from the NOK 15.000
Students doing a preparatory language course in Finland or Iceland may be admitted the scholarship
