Positive aspects of school
"The school's strong point is its teachers."
Negative aspects
"The acoustics in the classroom are very poor."
Details of the review
City/place
"The town is very nice and very small. Activities are mostly hiking and cycling. You should be aware of that."
Accommodation
"The room was very nice and there was access to an outdoor terrace which was nice. The breakfast was very poor and I think you have to set expectations of what is expected of the tenant and landlord when staying with a family. In this case I wouldn't say I wasn't staying with a family, but a form of B&B."

Positive aspects of school
"We were only 3 students, similar ages, similar prior knowledge. The lessons took place on time and were well structured. We had 2 teachers, both very pleasant. I have nothing to criticise about the lessons."
Negative aspects
"It is a small village. It's a nice area, but I don't think it's very suitable for people who want to experience a lot of different things outside of school. I was only there for a week and chose the place deliberately. There was a programme in the afternoons. Mountain biking for me on 3 afternoons. It was very nice, 2 very nice guides here too. Only 2 dates would have been enough for me, but I don't think the school was very flexible! I actually got annoyed once: I joined a museum visit one afternoon. 50 km to the museum, private journey. There was a guided tour, in which a few tourists also took part. A teacher from the school was present, whose only job was to be there. The entrance fee was 5 euros, including audio guide. I was charged 40 euros by the school for this excursion. I didn't think that was ok."

City/place
"Very small, but nice. A question of taste."
Accommodation
"The landlord had let me use his bike to get to school, otherwise it would have been difficult to get there on foot or by public transport because I was staying in a small neighbouring town. However, with a bike I found it ideal for me!"

"Excellent teachers. The town of Bagno di Romagna is a delightful small town nestled in the mountains, which I liked. The variety of afternoon activities and excursions was a plus."

"It's a small quiet town. There are only a handful of restaurant dining options, but all the ones I tried were excellent. It's easy to walk out of town and hike in the forests that surround it. Only real downside for me was that the only public transport was an infrequent bus service."

"It may be useful to know the fact that when you reach November, the city becomes very quiet and several cafes etc. close. Even though there were only two of us in the class, I often felt like an outsider because of my language level. Maybe the teacher did not push me hard enough. It was hard at times to feel a part of the team and I considered even going home before the time."
