"We opted out of the homestay after one night. Public transportation was too time-consuming so we rented a car. With the car, it was still a 30-minute drive. So, we returned the car and applied the rental savings to get a hotel room 5 minutes walk from the school."

I think this type of learning process may be a bit unusual and if/when I return, I would do things a bit differently - i.e. I would be a bit more direct (possibly in advance) about my goals. "Ask for a homestay within 3km of the school. Some students live an hour away by bus, making it difficult to get home after a late night out."

"The classrooms are small for the number of students. Also the classes are often full in the summer time. You also don't know whether your class is in the morning or in afternoon until the previous Friday. This makes planning your week a bit difficult. Besides that, it's a great school, I had lot of fun, and can't wait to return!"

"I was tremendously happy with my choice of going to Bouchereau. It was centrally located, the teachers were delightful, there were many fantastic international students (most of the students were from Switzerland and Colombia... that was sort of weird), and the host family that I was allotted to live with, couldn't have been more perfectly selected to suit my personality. Thanks a bunch!"
