The location and the impressive entrance right in the heart of the old town are unbeatable. The school’s obvious popularity ensures a diverse mix of fellow students from all over the world and of all ages. Nevertheless, the school remains small enough for Andrea, the head of the school, to know all the students. The lessons are structured and well thought out. They offer much more than just simple conversation exercises in typical tourist situations. The fact that, after three weeks, I can easily watch and understand challenging documentaries and news programmes on Italian television speaks volumes about their quality. The grammar teacher went to great lengths to make photocopies from various textbooks to ensure comprehensive explanations of tricky topics.
It clearly has a lot of students who keep coming back. A few of them even come so regularly that they’re almost part of the furniture. That’s a recommendation that speaks louder than words.

Since I was only able to attend one week of instruction, I was not able to assess my language growth. I found the two teachers to be very prepared, enthusiastic and flexible. I enjoyed the company of and learning with my classmates. Both teachers worked diligently to teach across the skill levels of all of us students. I definitely plan to attend classes for a longer period of time.

Really nice, friendly, and qualified teachers. Small groups (I saw groups of up to 8 people). Group activities every afternoon. An absolutely warm, family-like, and relaxed atmosphere. A great, colorful school with an unbureaucratic administration (you don’t pay until the end of your stay...) and a fantastic location. Perfect!!! I can ONLY highly recommend it!!
