This course focuses on Italian conversational structure and contemporary Italian culture.

Italian Language Course:
This course is available at 6 different levels, offering 2 grammar lessons and 2 conversation lessons per day. It caters to all proficiency levels, from absolute beginners to advanced learners.

Coffee & Barista Course:

• Day 1: Covers the history and types of coffee, the coffee process, roasting and blending, espresso tasting, preparation of espresso and cappuccino, classic Italian coffee preparations, and maintenance of espresso machines.
  
  
• Day 2: Focuses on barista and latte art championships, professional coffee tasting, practical espresso making, and latte art techniques. It also explores coffee cocktails and new trends.

It includes 4 days a week of Italian Language and Culture course (4 lessons per day) plus 1 full-immersion day a week of coffee & barista course.

Choose 3 visits from: Cathedral Square, Cathedral of St. Zeno, Palazzo del Comune, St. Zeno Baptistery, Saint John Fuoricivitas Church, Church of Saint Andrew.

Choose 3 visits from: Florence Cathedral, Giotto’s Campanile, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Bargello Museum (Statue of David), Ponte Vecchio, Basilica of the Holy Cross, Uffizi Palace and Gallery, Church of Santa Maria Novella.

Florence is one of Italy’s most iconic cities, and certainly a favourite destination for visitors from all over the world. It’s in this beautiful city that you will study Italian for 15 hours per week, all while living in your teacher’s home and benefitting from a full board meal plan and access to conversation in Italian practically whenever you want it.

This is a city where most attractions and places of interest are within walking distance of each other, so you will find it easy to move independently once you start exploring Florence for yourself outside of class hours. Your host family will give you the best advice on how to move around while not getting too caught up in the tourist areas - one of the many ways that you will benefit from their local expertise.

Learn Italian and discover Italy at the same time:
20 group Italian lessons per week in at least 2 different cities. Choose between Florence, Milan, Rome, Turin and Viareggio. The school provides assistance with transfers between the cities (cost not included).

To take part in the course students must have Italian origins, proven by a document attesting the Italian citizenship of the student or the parents/ancestors.

Course Includes:
4 daily Italian language group lessons with students of different nationalities (students join the general group language courses at their level).
6 weekly lessons on selected days with the following programme:

• History of the Italian emigration,
  
• Analysis of the region and the place where the student's ancestors started their
  journey,
  
• Study of the dialect spoken in the region of origin,
  
• Research on the origins of the student’s surname with the help of the teacher,
  
• Planning the visit to the place of origin of the student’s family.
  
  This course will take place even with only 1 participant: in such cases, instead of the 6 classes specific to the programme, the student will have 3 private lessons per week covering the same material.

Intensive Course plus 5 culture lessons per week. The culture lessons covers: Art and Culture, History and Folklore, Media and Films, and Political and Economic Situation of Italy.
