Why Gozo? Gozo is a little island situated just 6 km northwest of Malta. The island ...
has a fascinating history, rich with crafts, culture and colour. It is more picturesque than the larger sister island of Malta, and the country, covered as it is with conical hills, is more fertile in its plains and valleys.

What our students said about Gozo

Rating: 5/5

5.0

Perceived as safe, rural, peaceful / calm, friendly and helpful people. Short walk to "everything" (walks, eateries, beaches, ferry to Malta etc). Gozo has everything you need :-) The climate was perfect the first few weeks, the last period it has been surprisingly cold; - windy, rainy and the degrees have dropped to 12-14 degrees

Beautiful Gozo, but very difficult for transport. They had it, but with the fact that they take you back to Victoria every time means that trips become abysmally long to the point that they discourage you from doing anything.

Gozo is a beautiful island to stay on. It is quiet (excepted some "hotspots"), and you can go on fantastic walks.

The best thing about the school was the location, size and service. Placement - quiet and beautiful surroundings, perfect setting for learning Size - few students in each class, quickly became acquainted with other students, incredibly good environment, as a family. Service - incredibly helpful, was always greeted with a smile, one got the impression that "everything" could be solved. Impressed with how they solve that we as students enter the class with such different backgrounds / skills, as well as the duration of how long they have been going to school. Some one week others for 6 months.
The staff deserves a big salute !!

Very good reception and follow-up by Raian. Professor Magda was very involved so that the new students could understand everything she was explaining. She made it very easy to understand her.
The involvement with students by management in Gozo is much more personalized while in St Paul's it is much colder.

It is like being at home, friendliness and availability, more than ample spaces even if the furniture is not very refined.
A unique linguistic experience not to be missed especially for those who are no longer young.

Average age (adults), location in the countryside.
The quality of the lessons strongly depended on the teacher: first week rather moderate, second week much better. Leisure activities were heavily geared towards sport and were all commercial activities, no informal activities (such as the option to just meet in a bar in the evening, etc.), as I usually know from language schools.

The first week was great because I had an excellent teacher (5 stars) who knew all of the teaching tricks. You were highly motivated. In the second week I experienced the exact opposite after a teacher change (1 star). Hence only three stars for the quality of the teaching.
