What our students said about Gozo

Perceived as safe, rural, peaceful/calm, friendly and helpful people. Short walk to "everything" (walks, eateries, beaches, ferry to Malta etc.). Gozo has everything you need. The climate was perfect the first few weeks, the last period it has been surprisingly cold - windy, rainy and the degrees have dropped to 12-14 degrees.

5.0Heidi Norway

I liked it very much. Only the traffic is horrendous. A lot of people drive very fast in the narrow streets and there are only very narrow pavements or none at all.

5.0Regine Germany

Very interesting and quiet holiday, without noise and bustle. Who does not like noisy parties, but likes solitude - this is the right place for you.

5.0Luka Russia

Gozo is the island, not a city. The traffic in the capital is heavy, especially at weekends, and it takes a bit of courage to cycle here...

5.0Michael Germany

Gozo is a beautiful island to stay on. It is quiet (excepted some "hotspots"), and you can go on fantastic walks.

5.0Maud Netherlands

The islands are very beautiful to visit. Its history, its agriculture and the bus make it easy to travel.

4.0Anna Mª Spain

Gozo is a quiet island, apart from Victoria, ideal for studying in peace.

4.0Michael Germany

Distances are short, you quickly find your way around, lots of charm

5.0Kathrin Switzerland

Traditional Maltese architecture, with interesting sights.

5.0Thomas Germany

Very relaxed. Good range of restaurants and bars.

Information about Gozo

Why Gozo? Gozo is a little island situated just 6 km northwest of Malta. The island has a fascinating history, rich with crafts, culture and colour. It is more picturesque than the larger sister island of Malta, and the country, covered as it is with conical hills, is more fertile in its plains and valleys.
