St. Pauls Bay ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in St. Pauls Bay
What our students said about St. Pauls Bay
In my opinion, the superior residence was nice, but is far away to the school. There were no shops or supermarket nearby and public transport in Malta is horrible.
Spain
Personally I think the island is too crowded, too many cars and residents. It was impossible for me to rent a car or bicycle because it was too busy on the road.
Netherlands
I am very thankful for the special time I was given as all of the time is my own. I am even grateful that I was able to study at night.
Japan
Very pleasant town with excellent transport links.
Sweden
I recommend! A quiet resort, friendly to tourists.

What school directors said about St. Pauls Bay

St. Paul’s Bay is an ideal base to explore the island with excellent bus links to Valletta, Sliema and Mdina. The best beaches on the island are also an easy bus ride away. Mellieha has a fine sandy beach with water sports facilities and cafés. The sea is shallow and clear making it ideal for children. Golden Bay nestles below rocks and is a wonderful spot to have something to eat and watch the sun set. For those who enjoy a slower pace and quieter nightlife, then St. Paul’s Bay is ideal. If you want to enjoy the bright lights of Bugibba or Qawra both are within walking distance. The beaches and the main towns are all easy to reach using the cheap and regular bus services.

Actuallu I liked everything. Great teachers, interesting lessons, nice atmosphere.
The school is situated in a good location, easy access, close to the sea, close to a shop and a kiosk with good food.

The different way of teaching. The teachers Chris and Dave let you talk and afterwards pointed out your mistakes. A slightly different teaching with a more positive result.
Do not separate groups that have several weeks in common!

My teacher is very professional, and his teaching style is very structured, with assignments for the first and second weeks in order, in an effort to improve my English.
Although the facilities were not that great, the price was reasonable. For me, the school was enough to improve my English. I only stayed for two weeks and would have liked to study more if possible.

Teachers are very well and friendly.
The school has to organize the lessons and schedules better because we only did 1 unit of the book per week and we had a lot of time to do more lessons of grammar and vocabulary.

This is school for adults, teenagers rarely come. The atmosphere at school is nice. The majority of people come from Europe.

The teacher assigned to me for the daily lessons has really responded to my expectations.
The afternoon lesson has less responded to my needs but, over time, it was possible to meet my needs and therefore also in this case the school's response was positive.
They need to improve (but I know that logistics aren't easy) the organization of the accommodation. Living with people of different ages (in my case I was 38 and the others 20) makes sharing the apartment, especially the management of communal areas, quite unpleasant (inability to keep it clean, in particular, but also noises and privacy)
