Standard 15
Develop your English language skills by living in your teacher’s home in the mediaeval cathedral city of Salisbury, where you will take 15 hours of private classes every week. One of the features of more typical English learning experiences is that you have no realistic context outside of the classroom to continue practising your language skills, but by living with the host family and sharing your time, you will naturally accumulate plenty of time spent communicating and using what you have been learning.
Although Salisbury enjoys city status due to having an important cathedral, the place itself gives more of a village feel, which is what some people prefer compared to the hustle and bustle of larger cities. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates historic curiosities, then you’ll have a hard time running out of buildings and museums to check out in Salisbury. You will also find all the shops, pubs, and restaurants that you could ever need.
Your meals will be prepared for you by your Homestay family, and the school recommends taking the time to sit down at the table and eat together as much as possible - both to create a great relationship and also to develop your English speaking skills as much as possible.
In the case of having any kind of issue with your course or accommodation, you will be able to contact the Local Organiser, who will try to resolve your issue no matter how small it may seem.
