What we dislike about the school
- Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
- Do not offer favorable cancellation terms in the case of a student getting a visa rejected.
Location: Stafford House International in London is situated in the heart of Bloomsbury. Bloomsbury is an upmarket area within the capital city, with cafes, bookshops and academic institutes.
Public transportation: The closest tube station is Holborn, which is under 5 minutes from the school entrance. Students can catch both the Central Line and Piccadilly Line to navigate around London. Ten minutes down the road from the school is Tottenham Court Road tube station which also has the Northern Line as well as the Elizabeth Line which reaches Heathrow Airport.
Local attractions: The British Museum, one of the major attractions in London, is within the school’s neighbourhood, a few minutes walk from the school’s building. Students can walk to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park in around 35 minutes. All the other major attractions within the city are reachable by the public transportation links around the school.
Course structure: The school has a range of general English classes for students who want to learn the basics of the language. There are private classes for one-to-one attention from the teacher. These can be added to a course or taken as a package. Exam preparation courses are possible for the Cambridge Exams as well as IELTS Exam.
Business courses: Stafford House International London has specific courses for students to improve their understanding of the English language within a business context.
Junior programmes: During the summer months, the school organises summer programmes for junior students.

The course includes the introduction to functional business vocabulary for the workplace and the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills applicable to the commercial world.
The Intensive programme of 25 hours consists of the Core English Course in the morning plus one module. The module is in the afternoon and can be from 12:30-13.:0 or 13:30 - 14:30. Students may be required to attend module 2 between 14:40 - 15:40 instead of module 1.
