"Whatever kind of continental breakfast it is, it shouldn't be just toast, butter and jam every day. There can be fruit, cereal, cheese, croissant etc.etc...none of which requires any preparation.
I really did not expect to sleep on an uncomfortable convertible couch on the floor with bunch of storage furniture- baby carriage, storage trunk etc. in the room. The room got freezing cold to study when the outside temp went down to 4 degrees C. Requested for some kind of heating unit was refused. Bathroom was another story, the shower head was so old that all the water spread out everywhere. Since there was no barrier except a small side glass, over a tub, all the water went to the floor and all over. The house owner put a some kind of carpet to collect the water but because it did not dry at all overnight, the whole place stank...
I was looking into being with a French family to see their life style, and be a part of it. In this case, the family(?) that I stayed with was to give as little as possible but make the most of the financial arrangement with the school. It is unfortunate that a lot of the students coming are young and would not comment on any aspect of their homestay!"

"I highly recommend France Langue Paris Notre Dame if you are planning to study French in Paris. The organisation and administration of the school is fantastic. I was only doing a one week course and yet all of my questions and requests were dealt with quickly. I managed to change classes 3 times in just one week and every teacher I had was kind and friendly but also very professional and effective."

"The school is in a great location. The teacher was very good. However, the school is a bit run down and worse for wear. For me, I was very disappointed to be put in the B2 class which was too easy for me. It was fine when the teacher was teaching and in solo activities but I was far above the rest of the class when we had to do group work. The school would not put me up a level which was very disappointing. The school had made it sound very easy to move in the opening presentation but when I asked to move, they said they would only do it on the teacher's recommendation."
