"The location was great."

Negative aspects

"As I only took part in the lessons for one week, I didn't get a workbook, which is understandable. But no copies were handed out either, so I had to copy everything from the teacher's book. Other exercises had to be photographed from a screen and then also copied out. That was very inconvenient, and I think that at least a few copies should have been included for the fee. There were also no afternoon events or similar, which is usually the case."

"For me, this month was a beautiful experience. However, there were also shortcomings. The school was good, the teacher very friendly. However, the different levels should be separated more precisely."

Negative aspects

"A friend came to visit and stayed with me. This was a big problem for my landlords in the beginning. I even offered to pay something for my friend if that was the problem. However, he assured me that it was not about money, but about security. Finally, the school approached me and told me that I had to report it to the school first and that it would cost 35 euros per night. Which surprised me a lot. In addition, the fridge came into the room on my last day, which didn't help me much either."

"Everyone was very friendly and open-minded. The teacher of the first group also quickly noticed that I had to change to another group because the level was too low for me. Everyone always speaks Italian and explains everything over and over again with great patience. I felt perfectly taken care of. I will come again."

"I had only booked one week and therefore had to buy the book myself, you could say that in advance. Otherwise you get copies, but that's not a problem either."

"I had difficulty asking for explanations, because the teacher was speaking in English, and I do not speak English, which does not detract from the quality of the teaching. it was difficult at my age to follow 4 hours from the 2nd day to follow only 3 hours, could not make shorter courses at a lower price, even if the intensity of the courses tired me, I'm happy with my experience"

"Fight back, demand to speak more Italian during class. Our teacher Alessia spoke 97 percent of the time. Us maybe a single word. Incredible. I once asked her if we could even read the whole sentence and not just the missing word. Oh, the teacher was downright pissed off, I just read a few sentences cheekily. In the second week I asked her if she could please speak more slowly because I often didn't understand but she refused. Her comment was that this was the way people talked in Italy. Monika spoke slowly and in simple sentences but Alessia didn't want to. The 5 of us from May 14th were the only ones for the first week. We were all put into the same class, with different levels of knowledge, regardless of the entry test results. The pronunciation, the speaking, would have been so important for the 2 Thais in particular. Arrogant demeanor from Alessia. In the 2nd week there was a teacher in the other class who, I heard, had better pedagogical knowledge and included everyone in the group, there was more talk. I think in the 2 weeks I spoke less than 10 minutes of Italian in class. Alessia also had no patience, so she pushed her program forward in a hurry. A PITY."

"As an apprentice trainer, I know that you can teach in groups at different levels, how important it is to let the students speak, even to let them speak incorrectly. A teacher just stands at the blackboard and speaks Italian so quickly that I wasn't the only one who didn't understood anything, grrr. Written homework would be obvious for me as a teacher, then correcting it together, going through the text together. The teacher should not be on her mobile while we solve tasks in writing, but should look over our shoulders. Oh, sometimes I didn't even know what she was asking of us. She sat there and she was busy with her mobile. For example, ask us about the weekend so we can explain in Italian what we did. It's about speaking Italian and the teacher should be interested in us students, incorporate enthusiasm for the classroom."
