Location: Alpadia Summer Camp is about halfway between Berlin and Potsdam, by Lake Wannsee. It is situated right on the edge of the Forest Grunewald, and there is a mix of forest activities, water sports on the lake and the Strandbad Wannsee, a sandy beach a short walk from the centre. The accommodation, classroom and dining room are all in the same building.
German courses: Students can select 20 lessons per week, or opt for a more intensive lesson plan, with 25 classes per week. 5 Weekly private lessons can be added to the course package for students who want to focus on specific areas.
Accommodation: The student residence has quadruple bedrooms, all fitted with a desk, wardrobe, chair and lamp. There is a shared bathroom between 2 rooms; 1 shower for 8 students and 1 toilet for every 6 students.
Activities: The school provides an afternoon of multi sports, or trips to nearby attractions. There are afternoon sports which could include biking, dodgeball, squash, pedalo, swimming, badminton, minigolf, volleyball, baseball, football, table tennis, basketball and handball. There are full day excursions to Berlin city centre where students can shop or visit one of its many attractions such as the Berlin Wall, Botanical Garden or Old National Gallery.
