Location: Embassy Junior Centre (EC) Canterbury is located in the medieval English city of Canterbury, in southeast England. The school is just a short walk from the city centre, housed within the modern facilities of the University of Kent. The on-campus sporting facilities and large outdoor spaces offer great options for activities and interaction with other students and staff. Historically a Cathedral city, Canterbury is a UNESCO World Heritage site, its medieval cobbled street and Cathedral, within walking distance of the school. Students have excellent access to the school via train, with Canterbury West Train Station within a 20-minute walk of the school's front doors.
Course selection: Course selection with Embassy Junior Centre in Canterbury is fantastic for Junior students, offering a fully immersive English Language experience within the surroundings and facilities of one of the area's most renowned universities. All courses are inclusive of 20 weekly lessons, afternoon and evening activities and at least 2 excursions per week, in addition to all meals and accommodation. Daytrips may include trips to London, Brighton or Cambridge.
School facilities: The facilities of the school are fantastic, offering everything a junior student may need to have a memorable time, whilst reaching their language goals. The school has large spacious classrooms, plenty of outdoor space for games and activities, a multi-purpose sports hall and an astroturf pitch. The large, self-service dining hall is within nearby Rutherford College.
Accommodation: The accommodation is on campus and available in single en-suite rooms in Tyler Court or shared apartments with other junior students at Darwin College.
