Insider tips about what future students should not miss
don't miss the beach (la grande-motte, la grande traverse), check out the bars barberousse, the rock store (not before 02.00), mi barrio (winebar), they are sometimes some salsaparties at the beach (really nice), visit pont du diable and saint guillhem de desert, also pont du gard and avignon, at the trainstation in montpellier you can rent a car, you can also rent some scooters at several places
Other comments
I stayed for 10 weeks in Monpellier, in my opinion Accent Francais is the best school there. the people are very friendly and willing to offer their help. most of the teachers are very motivated and comprehensive. You will meet spanish, german, japanese, australian, dutch, dannish, swiss, english, american, columbian people there. During some weeks i found they were too many german, spanish and austrian students there but in general its a nice mix. Montpellier is a very nice town! go and check it out yourself!!

there are young teachers who are very motivated. the school is not too big, so you get to know the others students better, very sympathetic students from everywhere. It's good that there are people from every age, from 18 to 50, but at the most at about 25

You have to choose: If you want to get to know many people and have many outdoor-activities you should arrive in the summertime. If you want to learn a lot during class winter is preferable, because classes are small (I was in a class with 3-5 other persons).

The teacher are encouraging, fun at class is included. The teacher adjust the lessons to your knowledge and needs.
Other comments
Small classes in autumn (4-5), therefore the activities besides school were not well organized. This is probably an effect of autumn too. But the teachers were very helpful to organize and trying to realize your own ideas.

the Friday beach gatherings or picnics are much fun, if you go to Nimes you really should see the garden (grand jardin) and on the highest point there is a tower from that you have a amazing view all over Nimes
Other comments
I think it's a great school in a wonderful city. It's a small school but therefore there's a nice familiar atmosphere what I really liked.
Negative: When you want to get a computer you either have to be lucky, wait for quite a while or sign a time for using the computer.

I really was very satisfied with the school offer. If there was one thing to critisize, it is that the teachers were often "too friendly" with students, that were not very serious about the class progress. In my class there were many young girls chatting and laughing all the time. I wish there would have been a little more discipline from time to time.
