"Reaching fluency in a language is not an overnight process. If you think that simply attending class every day for a year will make your language skills comparable to those of a native speaker, that's unrealistic. It takes time and patience to truly develop proficiency."

"Homestay was in an interesting house. Delightful couple. The room looked spectacular but in practical terms it was not so good. No window coverings. Bright light all night. Lights operated by mobile phone which was cumbersome and irritating. The apartment at the school was very good. I was told on the first day a new bed would be installed. This did not happen. Existing couch was very old. However overall I enjoyed the space and privacy."

"Before buying additional private lessons, it is better to attend a group course for a few days. 5 hours per day are already a hard job. I did the opposite and it was difficult for me. The course with 4 hours per day is the best option for me takinig into consideration the homework."

"If you teach a group of Spanish students without specific requirements: you either inform them that the course is taught in English before the starting date or you use Spanish in the class. My English isn't good enough and I had to use Spanish to ask a classmate to translate what the teacher was telling us (in English). And then the teacher was telling us off for using our mother tongue to try to keep pace with the class, just because she did not understand."
