"The location of the school in Nerja is easy to reach. Very nice and good teacher. With this teacher even grammar was fun. :-)"
Negative aspects
"There were no activities and excursions offered by school, because I was the only non-inhabitant at that time. I understand that it didn´t pay of for the school, but activities after school were one part of my decision. At least I got some suggestions what I could do on my own."

"Friendliness and professionalism of teachers"
Negative aspects
"It may be 'in the small print' but I was annoyed that I had paid for 15 hours of teaching per week only to find that only 12 hours was offered in the first week because of a Spanish Bank Holiday. In my view that is neither reasonable nor fair. it is a known event and fees should be reduced pro-rata."

"Although very convenient for all facilities in the town, the Calle San Miguel is a very busy road in the day."
City/place
"The old town is picturesque and characterful, but all is very 'touristy'. The access arrangements to the accommodation directly from a very busy street were not of the best."
Quality of teaching / language progress
"The course was pitched at the right level for me. I was just a little disappointed that the group changed each week and was dominated by people living in the vicinity. That meant there was little or no social activity outside of school hours. It would be good if the options to stay with a local family or to 'almorzar' with them could be re-started as soon as possible."
Accommodation
"I was aware that the room would be un-serviced but for there not to be even any spare waste disposal bags or more than one toilet roll for a 2 week stay was exceptionally mean. It should also have been made clear in advance that there would be no change of bed sheet provided."

"The first week we were with 3 students and the second week with four of us. And the teacher provided nice varied lessons."
Negative aspects
"That the conversation lessons could unfortunately not be given in the morning hours. Now in the middle of the day.
And there was a student, who was much further along, he took care of a good part of the lesson.
Speak to the teacher about it. The next day she took it into account."

"Private lessons were a good option for me. The teacher Pepe started on my level, as I wanted to learn the different verb tenses. This was not easy at all, but I got better and better at it and after this intense week I will reflect on and rehearse what I have learnt. I will probably come back after the holidays and might take 1 lesson per week if that is possible. Louise was informative and provided good service."
Negative aspects
"It was really cold in the classroom, I was freezing despite wearing several layers!! But then, I sat still for two consecutive hours so that did not help....when I left the school and set foot on the street it was like entering a sauna!"

"The person teaching / leading the class was very friendly, encouraging and gave us a lot of words and verbs that we could learn and use in class and outside. She also gave us a very good insight into the Spanish way of life and how the culture in Spain is quite different in some aspects compared to home in Ireland. The more I am away from the class the more I feel I learned."

"Good quality and good learning in a fun way.
There were no offers on activities or excursions, and no library that I was introduced to"

"The studo apartment the first week was filthy, very poor bed and noisy facing the street. Had to wash even though I complained that it was dirty when I arrived. After some discussion, got a quilt to have on the mattress,
the second week in the new studio apartment was much better. But to few towels. Had to wash all the time"

Accommodation
"Very simple. Minimally equipped. Clean towels and bed linen once per day. Week. There was a washing machine in the room. Not very clean on the floor when we arrived, but we washed.
