"The school is equipped with spacious classrooms, air-conditioning, an equipped kitchen, a large room for rest during breaks. I liked the organisation of the educational process, the principal Mai was pleasant on the first day, gave us a tour of the school and a briefing, we felt at home."

"I didn't quite like the location of the school - there were a lot of homeless people nearby every day, my daughter was afraid of them."

"- all teachers and the headmistress were very, very nice and competent and were able to enthuse the children for the lessons
- the teaching methods were interactive, varied and modern
- the children were encouraged to speak English in a playful way
- the school is very centrally located directly on the No.5 freeway with parking spaces right outside the door
- the rooms are spacious and modern with WIFI, lounges and a small kitchen"
Negative aspects
"- the rooms were too air-conditioned, you had to come in long clothing even if it was 25 degrees outside (but this is apparently normal in the USA)
- a bit more homework would have been good for personal progress
- some other course participants did not take the rules seriously (were massively late every day, were very fixated on their phones, often got up and went out to buy snacks), which often disrupted the lessons. The teachers could be a bit stricter here."

"Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, lots of positive encounters with locals.
Large selection of really great activities, especially for children. Beautiful beaches, weather was good in July. Often overcast and cool in the morning, sunny and warm from midday, always a pleasant breeze. The sea is choppy and rather cool.
The pavements in the city centre are sometimes very dirty and it stinks a lot. There are a lot of homeless people camping by the roadside and leaving a lot of rubbish behind."

"Generally, the institute is good and in a unique location in downtown San Diego. However, the following would make it even better: Increase of facilities such as toilets. Create an open room or space for students to gather outside the institute instead of blocking the walkway(s)."
