Location: Bucksmore English Language Summer School King's College is located in the cosmopolitan and vibrant city of London, England. Housed within the world-famous King's College, in the heart of London, junior students are sure to have a unique and productive experience whilst studying within a school that is part of one of the world's most prestigious universities. Less than a mile from some of the city's most famous landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the school has everything in proximity to offer an excellent and memorable time in London to all students.
Accommodation: Accommodation is within a private residence close to King's College. These student apartments consist of twin & triple rooms with shared bathrooms, a kitchen and a social area. Students will always have a Bucksmore staff member accompanying them whenever they travel, a free travel card given for each week of stay.
School facilities: The facilities of the school are excellent, offering everything a junior student may need to feel at ease in their surroundings whilst meeting their language goals. Classes are within the King's College London's Virginia Woolf Building, near the Holborn underground station. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors and ample space for students to learn in comfort.
Course selection: All programmes include a free airport transfer service for all students arriving from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London City or St Pancras Intl Station.
Social and Cultural: Full-day excursions may include trips to Thorpe Park. Half-day excursions may include trips to the London Dungeons, Natural History Museum, St. Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye and more!

The IELTS preparation courses comprises of 17.5 English lessons and 7.5 hours of IELTS preparation classes. The English lessons are consistent with the Bucksmore Intensive English syllabus, which combines general English tuition, project sessions, conversation sessions and excursion link lessons. The IELTS classes provide students with an understanding of the exam style and what is needed to pass the exam.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
