Additional information
Positive aspects of school
On the whole, the teachers were good listeners and caring. Good exchanges.
Negative aspects
My zero level in Spanish was not taken into account, and the blame was passed on to Madly Simba (and vice versa, it seems). Little or no preparation for certain courses. Reception: the group was not expected, we were forgotten.

too little time to grasp and capture explanations in class. The teacher was already somewhere else.

Host family: woman of the house did not seem particularly interested in contact. Flat not in good overall condition, too warm (4th floor, small windows without air conditioning).

Additional information
Negative aspects
The school has very bad organisation, on the first day you lose the first hour of class, even if you submit the level test and have an online interview beforehand. If you have a group class purchased but there are no more than 4 people at your level then the number of hours is reduced and you pay the same. The teachers (not all of course) are poor, with no enthusiasm for their work, they translate in English or type a word into google and read the definition in Spanish, without making the effort to explain in their own words, if they have any material it is inadequate to the level. At school, there are cockroaches walking around in the bathrooms.
Other comments
Despite having sent an enquiry about the possibility of accommodation on a particular date and having received a positive reply, after a few days I received information that it was impossible, which meant that I had to look for other accommodation two days before and one day after in a flat shared with the school.
City/place
Concrete town, little greenery, dogs walk and poop on the cobblestones, some clean up after them, some don't.... The beach is about an hour's walk from the centre, but transport seems to work well. Hot and humid climate in summer, hard to tolerate without air conditioning in the room.
Quality of teaching / language progress
All in all I was cheated and the course didn't take place, out of 10 days I booked, only 4 took place.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The way the language was taught was fantastic, easy to understand and slow enough that the information would be transferred.
Negative aspects
However, as much as I liked the classes, it was pretty expensive and many people would not be able to have the opportunity to learn from you. Which is shame because it's a really good school! I also find that being put into a classroom with people studying for longer periods of time doesn't help since I learned at their pace rather than a pace for two weeks of classes.
Accommodation
My room was smaller than the others and no fan. It didn't bother me since it's not the summer but it'd be a nice addition next time. I also didn't get meals so 0 Stars is just because I didn't choose the option.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
All AIP employees were very nice, very helpful and also took the time to answer questions. You can also speak to a German in the organization team. As a beginner, I thought that was great too.
Negative aspects
My first accommodation was not according to my expectations regarding the cleanliness of the kitchen and with locals. In general, finding an accommodation in Valencia is very challenging, although the school and those responsible put a lot of effort into it.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
I found the leisure activities and the organizers great.
Other comments
The free computers are not exactly up to date. Small monitors and Win XP. When you can't do something on your smartphone.
City/place
Simply a great city that has everything but is not as overcrowded as Barcelona, for example.
Quality of teaching / language progress
In practice, it is not just a language course. But people try to talk a lot. The basics of grammar are also taught, which is also required for speaking.
Accommodation
The evaluation of the accommodation relates to the host family. The host is really a very nice older lady who also takes the time and tries to have a conversation. I had the small room with little space, no desk but quiet. I would have rated the large room with 5 stars.

If online courses are offered, teachers should receive appropriate training so that they can use the technology.
Quality of teaching / language progress
I had taken the intensive course. The lessons were mostly online, due to the current Corona situation. Actually, I only wanted to brush up my Spanish for 4 weeks. At the beginning of the 4th week the teacher (who had already looked after me for the first full 3 weeks) convinced me to book another week and take the certificate. I received feedback on the test very late (after more than 3 months).

I liked the lessons, which were well structured and held by dedicated, active, humorous teachers. We learned and laughed a lot. I lost my fear of speaking.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
My friend and I lived in an apartment between the old City centre and AIP idiomas. Both were within walking distance (+/- 20 minutes) . I would recommend other students to live in a central location.
Other comments
I was really satisfied!!!
City/place
I cannot comment on nightlife as we went for walks in the afternoons until early evenings and never at night. We had a nice apartment with a balcony, where we prepared our meals,. We spent our evenings doing our homework :), reading, talking, drinking wine, watching Spanish and Latin-American movies on Netflix etc.
Quality of teaching / language progress
I did not join afternoon activities, so I cannot rate this point. The classrooms are well equipped, but there are no windows.
