The school is easily accessible and has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. This allows for flexibility when it comes to organizational matters, and students maintain a personal connection with the teachers and staff on site. The principal is usually on campus and is always available to answer questions or address any issues.
You're in good hands there.

Living and studying with your private Spanish teacher might be the best way to learn any language quickly, but this programme also offers the immersive feature of living in your teacher’s home in the Spanish resort town of Bilbao. You will take a total of 15 lessons per week, and as these are one-to-one classes, you get to decide which topics and grammar structures you would like to work on. This means that you can keep the content relevant and interesting for you, and also focus on grammar that is challenging for you personally.
Bilbao is located in what is known as the Basque Country, which among other things is famous for having their own language and music, as well as for offering extremely generous portions of food wherever you go. Your host family will help you find activities and attractions that are appealing to you, but you might like to start by discovering La Concha Bay and the Parte Vieja (Old Town).
Students and guests will be able to reach out to HLI’s Local Organiser staff to communicate any issues with their home tuition experience, meaning that you will have constant support.
