Course: Intensive Spanish Course - 4 weeks
Student age: 67 years

The school is very well located, and I had the same two professional and friendly teachers during my six weeks there. There was a good range of activities on offer, but unfortunately not enough students were interested for the activities to take place.
On the day we arrived, when we got off the bus, we were three minutes away from the apartment where I was staying, but we had to walk 20 minutes through the city to pick up the keys at the VALLEMAR hotel near the school and then walk all the way back to get to the apartment, all with our suitcases. It would be more convenient to find a place near the apartment where we could leave the keys.

The school offers a variety of different interesting activities during the week, sports, cultural events, wine tastings and the like.
There is something for everyone and the week is very entertaining.
I can recommend it without reservation.

Course: Intensive 20 - 2 weeks
Student age: 69 years

At the Tenerife school, students from various European countries attended, often for just a week as part of their vacation. It was nice to interact with people from different countries.
Is the Tenerife Santa Cruz school affiliated with the Don Quijote school? The school name prominently features Don Quijote, and they publish the textbooks. It’s confusing because Google Maps shows two different locations.

Whether you prefer a grammar or a conversation-based approach to learning Spanish, this course takes the approach of exploring both sides of the language at the same time, meaning you’ll get the best of both worlds.
The Academy makes use of placement tests at the beginning of the course to ensure that you are assigned to a group that is appropriate for where you are right now in your Spanish journey.
Each lesson is 45 minutes in duration.
