What we dislike about the school
- Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
Location: The school is on the outskirts of Covent Garden, close to the centre of the city. It is a short walk from the British Museum, and the Bloomsbury Square Gardens. The Borough of Holborn is within walking distance of the school building. There are restaurants and shops around the area.
Public transportation: The Holborn tube station is minutes from the school by foot. This station has the Piccadilly and Central Line running through it, which both stop at important landmarks within London. The closest train station is Charing Cross. This is just over 15 minutes by foot. From here, there are lines to the south of the country, including Brighton and Gatwick Airport. Bus routes run around the area, with many stops close to the school.
Popular attractions: Covent Garden is known in London as a popular shopping area. There are also a number of theatre productions around the area as well as a lively night scene. Students can reach this area in 12 minutes by foot. Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park are both around a 35-minute walk from Kaplan International Languages.
English programmes: The school has a wide selection of English courses including general classes, Academic semester programmes, business courses and IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation lessons.
School facilities: All the classrooms are modern, with interactive whiteboards and air conditioning. For after class there is a study centre, library and computer lab for further studies. To interact with other students there is an outdoor area and student lounge.
Exam centre: Kaplan International Languages, Covent Garden, is an official centre for CELTA training, and a Trinity Exam Centre.

Nationals from Taiwan do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
