Location: VanWest College Vancouver is located in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This bustling seaport city is ripe with attractions, commercial shopping, museums and green spaces. Students have many amenities and attractions within walking distance of the school, ensuring a unique and fun-filled time in the city. The school is housed in the Yaletown neighbourhood, within walking distance of Downtown Vancouver, many eateries, restaurants and several of the city's attractions. Such attractions within walking distance of the school include the Science World Museum, BC Place stadium, the Vancouver Art Gallery, several parks, Robson Street, and much more. Stanley Park and all of its surrounding attractions are a 35-minute walk or 20-minute journey via public transport from the school.
Course selection: In addition to General English programmes taught over several schedules and intensities to students of all levels, VanWest College Vancouver also supplies English for Kids and English for Youth programmes during the summer months. These programmes ensure a course is available for students aged 7-17 years of age during the typical school summer holidays. Private tuition is also available in conjunction with or independently from any other programme.
Social and cultural: The school promotes regular activities and excursion programmes for adult and junior students to enjoy. Activities and excursions for adults can include a reading club, indoor rock climbing, Granville Island, Whistler, Kitsilano Beach, board games, language exchanges and much more!
